Per i Canonisti, il test della Eos 50D

Ecco qui su Dpreview il test completo della Eos 50D, e da Nikonista vi quoto un paio di frasi estratte dal bilancio conclusivo...

"We're by no means saying the 50Ds image quality is bad but it's simply not significantly better than the ten megapixel 40D. In some areas such as dynamic range and high ISO performance it's actually worse and that simply makes you wonder if the EOS 50D could have been an (even) better camera if its sensor had a slightly more moderate resolution.

The EOS 50D has to stand its ground in a highly competitive bracket of the DSLR market. It is currently almost $500 more expensive than the 40D, almost $500 more expensive than the Nikon D90 and for an extra $100 you can bag yourself a Nikon D300. Looking at the specification differences between the EOS 40D and our test candidate it appears you pay quite a premium for the 50D's extra megapixels and as we've found out during this review you don't get an awful lot of extra image quality for your money."

c'e' troppo marketing dietro alle macchine fotografiche.

Da Canoniano ( ) continuo a preferire Canon per diversi motivi, che in ogni modo non sono assoluti.
A mio avviso bisogna semplicemente scegliere con attenzione e se possibile informarsi bene sul prodotto da scegliere...(internet un po' aiuta oramai )
Tutti sappiamo comunque che sono le ottiche la componente piu' importante quindi ...
Per commentare la 40d e la 50d di canon ( che premetto essere ottime macchine ) non sono effettivamente dei corpi troppo evoluti rispetto alla 30d ( e volutamente oserei dire ).
Stessa cosa pero' vale per nikon: d70 d70s d60 e d60x d80 d90 ... sembrano le estrazioni dell'otto ...
per me la prossima sara' full frame ( quando potro' ... )

Sicuramente il miglior acquisto Canon attuale è un 5D primo tipo. Un ottimo usato lo paghi meno di una 50D.
